More Arrests Coming in Tampa Sex Sting
The Florida Department of Law Enforcement ran another Internet sex sting last week October 2013 in Tampa and more arrests are expected over the next few days. They claim they are arresting Internet child sex predators and publicly in their news releases claim that they are protecting children. Nothing could be further from the truth. The truth is that they are creating internet crimes to boost statistics, make arrests and seize vehicles. In this latest sting they intend to arrest people who merely chatted or talked on the phone and did not even travel to meet anyone. There is no end to the length the cops will go to create a crime.
Who is really doing the solicitation and seducing
In reality, it is law enforcement that is in the business of seducing men into talking, chatting, sexting and traveling. The police are still thick on the social media websites like the sex hookup site “Craigslist Casual Encounters”. Most if not all of the people arrested were adults looking for adults. The police will engage someone in chat and then say “I am only 14, I hope that is ok”? If someone on the Internet ever says that, terminate all contact. The simple answer is to avoid trying to hookup on Craigslist Casual Encounters. If the girl even hints she is underage, hang up, walk away, shut up and have no contact whatsoever. If someone responds and says “I don’t have much experience” terminate all contact. The best way to avoid arrest is to not commit a crime. Never travel to meet anyone under 18. Never send a picture of your penis to anyone on the Internet, particularly if they claim to be underage
Is it a cop answering your Ad?
In the past, it was the police posting on Backpage and Craigslist. Now the police are answering adult ads, sucking people in and then doing their bait and switch pretending to be 15 year old girls. Men looking for a prostitute or escort on Backpage now have to worry about being tricked into meeting a minor. FDLE Supervising Agent Chuck McMullen was quoted in the press as saying they are “looking to arrest people who expressed interest in having sex with a child online but did not show up”. The FDLE will arrest you if you even talk or think about it. We now have “thought police” who will arrest you for even thinking about a minor. Keep your thoughts to yourself. Stay off the Internet. As a sex sting lawyer, I have handled dozens of these types of cases. Innocent young men are being tricked into becoming criminals by police determined to make phony arrests to inflate their statistics. Let me hear what you think about this latest sting?
